Ms. Cotter returns to Pensacola Opera to make her role debut as Suzuki in Puccini's beautiful and heart-breaking Madama Butterfly under the baton of Mo. Jerome Shannon and stage direction of Joshua Borsch.

Mason Symphony

In March 2018, Gillian Lynn Cotter will make her Mason Symphony debut as alto soloist in the iconic Requiem by W. A. Mozart. Under the baton of Mo. Suren Petrosyan, the performance will also feature the Steiner Chorale.

Pan Americanism "Revisited and Reimagined"

Fairchild Theater

Gillian Lynn Cotter will be a featured soloist performing the Three Songs to Poems by Carl Sandberg by Ruth Crawford Seeger for voice, percussion, piano and oboe. These rarely performed pieces are being offered as part of a program that endeavors recreate the historic programs offered by the Pan American Association of Composers during the first decades of the 20th century.

Gillian Lynn Cotter will be joining the prestigious Santa Fe Opera as a member of the Apprentice Program for singers. She will be in residence for the entire summer season (June - August) and will be featured in cover, ensemble and scenes roles. 

A Capacity for Evil

Opera MODO

Ms. Cotter will debut the role of Angelica in the world premier of A Capacity for Evil with Opera MODO. This is the debut opera of award winning composer Evan L. Snyder, and is a winner of the Fort Worth Opera Frontiers Competition for new works.

Gillian Lynn Cotter will make her house and role debut as Hansel in Engelburt Humperdinck's classic opera, Hansel and Gretel with Opéra Louisiane.  

A Little Night Music

December 30 & 31, 2018


Opera Ithaca

Gillian Lynn Cotter will be returning to Opera Ithaca to debut as the flirty and funny Petra in Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music.
